Finally, Dodge County has historically been a good business and hospitality town.  Current unemployment hovers at less than 2.5% and sales tax revenues continue to show an upward trend.  During the pandemic, unemployment only reached 8%, half of the national average.   Its small market ambiance is appealing, but still close to a major metro area.
