With collaboration between Leisure Hotel Corporation and Brent Jaynes, Leisure Real Estate Advisors was founded as an affiliate company with its first full year in 1998. The brokerage company was established to specialize in the marketing and sale of hospitality properties by exclusively representing owners of hotel real estate. By becoming an independent affiliate, Leisure Real Estate Advisors was able to tap into the knowledge resources of a successful hotel company. In turn; the brokerage division added one of the final business segments needed to complete the transformation into a one-stop full service hotel development and management company.
Although Leisure Real Estate Advisors is a totally separate and autonomous company from Leisure Hotels, its affiliation allows the hotel brokerage company to benefit from the expert resources found within the many divisions of a multi faceted company. Although Mr. Jaynes has 25 years of hotel brokerage experience, Leisure Real Estate Advisors was built from the ground up, through significant investment in print advertising, national trade advertising, web technology and developing a significant database of prospects. Naturally, the cross referral from the various “affiliated” divisions proved helpful. The result of such an effort has successfully transformed Leisure Real Estate Advisors into a very recognizable name in the hotel brokerage industry. To our knowledge, we are the only hospitality real estate company in the U.S. to provide the extensive range of services found in our repertoire. We have given the term “full service” a new definition.
Since its first listing in 1998, hotel real estate listings and sales volume have increased nearly every year, including those years of the Great Recession. Our website currently generates 200,000 views per month. Leisure Real Estate Advisors has grown to six experienced hotel brokers who have transacted every type of hotel asset. In 2015, the company decided to change its look, together with a complete redesign of its logo and a total reconstruction of its website. Built from nothing to one of the top twenty hotel brokerage companies in the country is testimony to our systems, hard work, integrity and the love of the deal.
