Rated 4 stars on TripAdvisor and Yahoo Travel, this well maintained Super 8 produces an attractive income stream of which is consistently higher than most Super 8s in the Midwest.  The hotel is located with superior I-70 visibility, just off Exit 252.  McDonald’s is right across the street.  The all-brick exterior features a pleasing sense of arrival and is easily maintained.   Many features in the hotel were recently updated (2010) and according to the websites, provides a guest experience of more expensive hotels.  Salina, KS, population 50,000, with the confluence of 2 major interstates,  is a significant crossroads and stop-over point between Denver and Kansas City.  Besides a number of well known businesses, such as Tony's Pizza and Exide Battery, Salina also features the Bi-Centennial Center, a 7500 seat arena and an 18,000 sq ft convention facility.  It serves as a significant draw for regional events, meetings and trade shows. Salina boasts one of the highest "pull factors" in Kansas, a very positive economic indicator for business activity and economic growth.
